Kawasaki started life, like many motorcycle manufacturers, as something completely different - an aircraft company. After the second world war, the Japanese Kawasaki Aircraft Company bought Meguro, a failing motorcycle company and diversified into motorcycle production. The first Kawasaki Motorcycle Co engine was a four stroke single cylinder air-cooled 148cc OHV which came onto the market in 1963. Kawasaki has since grown in strength, reach and reputation to become one of the biggest and most well known global motorcycle brands. With its eye catching bright green livery, beautiful designs, state of the art ever-evolving technology and superbly powerful engines, Kawasaki has built some of the fastest motorcycles in the world.
