The Suzuki SV 650 appeared in 1999 in Roadster and half-faired Sportster forms and was an immediate success. Tweaked throughout the years with fuel injection, a new chassis, then various upgrades, this fun little V-twin naked roadster has had across the board appeal to new and experienced riders. The Suzuki SV1000 naked V-Twin arrived in 2003, as the larger version of the ever popular SV650 but with front forks and brakes sourced from the GSX-R600 and the engine from the TL1000S, with modifications to improve performance.
