After WW1 motorcycles really came into their own with numerous light, speedy and maneuverable models appearing on the scene, for example the illustrious Brough Superior, the Velocette in all its forms and Nortons. In 1930 speed limits were abolished - imagine that!

There will be some interesting machines at the show from the Sunbeam MCC, Norton OC (Surrey) and the Roaring Twenties Motorcycle Club to name but a few - so there will be a lot to see. From the SOS, Rex Acme, Excelsior, Francis-Barnett and the New Imperial, to the Cotton and Blackburne, there will be a wide range of machines and some of them will be fired up in the paddock so you can hear their authentic sounds. The show bikes will be in the Jubilee Hall and club stands, bike jumble stalls, new and used spares clothes and accessories will abound - oh and lots of food and drinks will be available too of course.

The Bike Show is at the South of England Showground, Ardingly near Gatwick, RH17 6TL eight miles off junction 10 of the M23.
