To foldy go where no motorcycle has gone before
XOR - puts in an appearance at EICMA
Amongst the many delights featured at EICMA this year, was the strange but true XOR XO2 Urban Transformer.
Cubist
This versatile little beast is a foldable electric scooter for scooting around town or taking away with you in your camper van. You can also store it easily in a cupboard or a shed – it folds down to less than a square metre of space – mmm in fact if you buy a white one, careful you don't mistake it for a sugar cube and drop it into your tea by accident.
One of its USPs is that it folds away or unfolds in thiry seconds - that's fast - bit like a transformer, (robots in disguise) only a tad bigger.
...He's my brother
It's eminently portable which is a great virtue - you can easily wheel it around on its luggage carrier...but make sure you have had plenty of spinach it weighs over 110lbs just think of it as your brother – he ain't heavy.
The battery pack is easily removable to take into the house and plug into a socket for full charge in 1 hour 30 seconds – in an emergency 1 minute = 1km range at 100 km/h speed. This speedy recharging time is a great advantage as it can be recharged in the time it takes for a meeting or lunch so that the scooter is ready and fully charged to take you home.
The XO2 comes in a variety of sizes from the XO2 -50 which can reach a speed of 37 mph and a range of 40 miles, up to the XO2-125 which will reach 60mph and has the power of a 125cc scooter. Check out the website for further info
