UK's Biggest Range Of Motorcycle Parts For The Trade

Wmd has been serving motorcycle trade customers since the start of 2009 and, from small beginnings, as sister company to Wemoto.com, has grown into one of the biggest parts suppliers to the motorcycle industry in the UK.

WMD’s story

Wemoto.com, from which WMD evolved, was formed in 1978 as World's End Motorcycles, catering for the servicing needs of the London motorcycle courier industry in South West London. The business relocated to Hammersmith in 1994 and started importing Japanese 'Home Market' motorcycles (grey imports) like the Honda Bros, CB-1 and the Yamaha Serow.

The company’s focus gradually moved from importing bikes, to sourcing motorcycle spare parts for grey imports, but the remit quickly expanded, to fill a gap in the market for low priced, high quality replacement motorcycle parts for a far wider range of bikes. As the internet began to take off, Wemoto.com, as it had then become, moved into online parts and accessories sales, soon amassing a huge range of easy to buy motorcycle, scooter and quad parts. Then came the move to the south coast near Brighton.

In early 2009 WMD, the trade company, was started in order to help the motorcycle trade with sourcing great value, high grade motorcycle parts. Since then WMD has built on its initial success, and gone from strength to strength. Located in the Grange Road Industrial Estate in Southwick near Brighton, WMD now has four warehouses, fully stocked with over five million motorbike, scooter and quad parts for older classic bikes through to modern day machines, all available online or in person via the trade counter. The warehouses are kept fully stocked and more parts are added daily in order to fulfil trade customers requests as quickly and efficiently as possible. Apart from its huge parts list, WMD also prides itself on second to none customer service, delivered by a really knowledgeable office and warehouse team. The WMD website is new, super fast and intuitive, with really useful features like a basket save feature so parts can be added throughout the day as the necessity arises.

WMD offers a huge range of well know brands and is the sole distributor of many trusted lines like: TRK, Slinky Glide, Schuring Rubber and Brenta Brake Pads, as well as being a main supplier of the YSS Suspension range
